Frog in my window well (6 May 2003)

I decided that the frog might have a better life outside the window well. After I heard it jump into my window, I opened the window thinking it might jump inside, perhaps into a bucket that I placed below the window.

The frog didn't move for over an hour. I opened the adjacent window, reached around with a newspaper and covered the frog. I then used the newspaper to carry the frog into this bucket.

I put a moist paper towel and a bit of water in the bucket and then taped some plastic over it. Then we went looking for a new home. After about 10 minutes the frog started jumping up and hitting the plastic. It was excited! When we reached it's new home, the frog jumped straight into the water and began swimming.
