Drew convinced me to go to the AYWKUBTTOD* show at the Annex last night. It was loud and rocking and much fun, moreso than their Source Tags & Codes release. The main craziness was the bass player swinging his instrument like a bat, breaking it and other equipment.

Thanks to a tip from this week's trainer, I stopped by a fitness club this evening. I'll probably join soon. There are perhaps 300 active racquetball players there so it must be good.
So far this week I've captured over 30 dreaded Asian lady beetles.

I stopped at the Madison Cosmetology College this evening for a quick 50-minute haircut. Miss Candy told me that I have a funny neckline and then added, "Well, nobody's perfect."
Both commutes today were about 18 minutes. OH, yeah.
Speaking of work, the monthly staff meeting was today. Employees gather in one of five locations with video carrying the presentations. The topics are inspiring, personal and/or mundane, instilling a sense of connectedness.
I just learned that washing soda helps with the hard water here. I'd never heard of it before this weekend.
This morning this pot was in the middle of the road. I stopped and moved it to one side of the road. Tonight it was on the other side. Hmmm....

I was going to make a photo of today's traffic jam but I didn't get stuck. On the way home I took a route that doesn't use the Beltline. Rock out!
Orientation has been easy.....mostly overviews, demos and finding out who prefers video games over bowling.
The commute to work is just over nine miles. Today this took 30+ minutes morning and evening. Rock out!
SBC set up my home phone today just like they said they would.
Work was a lot of introductory stuff. Training will take three months and should be fun.
